The Energy Codes Project at LC&D is an up-to-date directory of state and local commercial energy codes providing a design resource for the energy management and lighting controls industry. Engineers, architects, energy managers, or even our competitors can access this free resource as needs require. The design community needed an accurate resource. The code information in the DOE (Department Of Energy) and BCAP (Building Codes Assistance Project) web sites was inaccurate. We decided to do something about it. Every 3 months the Energy Codes Project verifies energy code changes with officials in each state and in many county and city jurisdictions. Contact the Energy Codes Project. What‘s New: Several states, counties, and cities within the last quarter have revised existing codes or adopted new ones. We have added county and city commercial energy codes for several home-rule states including Colorado, Florida, Alabama, & Illinois. Lighting credits, lighting density requirements and product performance standards are newly presented for most energy codes. Check to see if your state, county or city has adopted or is soon to adopt a new code. Design Assistance: LC&D offers free design assistance to ensure your specifications meets cod and client requirements. The Single Line Drawing Generator is a web-based application that generates typical single line drawings in AutoCAD®.
